This holder is angled/offset to the Right. See the size of this below to make sure it will fit your lantern tool post or lathe post. This tool holder is for 1" square HSS bits like Rex, Crucible, LaTrobe, MoMax, etc...or a 1" shank brazed on carbide bit. The hex head cap screw to snug the tool bit uses a 7/8" Allen wrench. Armstrong made these bolts from a treated alloy with a hardened point. The overall size of this holder is 18-1/2" long x approximate maximum 2-3/4" high x 1.650 " wide. The square for the 1" bit passes through the holder. NOTE: The last photo shows a type of HSS tool bit with a brazed on tip that this holder can hold. TOOL BIT SHOWN NOT INCLUDED. FOR REFERENCE ONLY.
