Description: Stunning well preserved Original 4 Light Ceiling Lamp Fixture, Decorative Ornate Arms are marked with the number 4232 on the underside. There is some minor paint loss to the the decorative ring as pictured. Overall very good condition with minor blemishes to this 120 year old or so fixture. This fixture was removed by the Lorain Ohio Historical Society from the Elizabeth King House. This fixture is 16" from center socket to center socket.The body is 10" across, Overall 30" from Ceiling to end of brass tassel.From the ceiling cap with extender to the chain it is 8" These dimensions from ceiling can be adjusted to your needs. This item has not been rewired and should be rewired for your installation. According to the book Images of Lorain, the King family had moved into the house (which was actually the remodeled carriage house) after a 1902 fire destroyed their home. Elizabeth King was the last family member to live there; after she passed away in the late 1990s, the city bought the property, demolished the house and added its acres to Lakeview Park.
