The pendant's design and appearance comes from the process which ensures each piece is unique. You never quite know what you are going to get. The process begins with a sheet of copper which is cut, matched with a design which is ironed onto the copper and then etched in an acid bath. Once the acid bath is complete the piece is sifted with enamel and fired in a kiln. From start to finish the process can take from 2-3 days. The bail and the chain are sterling silver which have been treated with liver of sulfur which results in the patina of age. The pendant's size and shape are shown the photographs. The pendant is slightly domed. The chain is 18 inches.
