This was also the first all-porcelain doll collection issued by the Ashton-Drake Galleries. Issued between 1994 and 1996, The Barely Yours moulds were broken in 1996. The collection includes Clean as a Whistle, Pretty as a Picture, Good as Gold, Cute as a Button, Cool as a Cucumber, and Snug as a Bug in a Rug. Since 1985 Ashton-Drake Galleries has been making collectible dolls from babies to brides. One of the most essential components of an Ashton-Drake creation is the doll’s quality. To become a part of the Ashton-Drake family, a doll must receive the coveted stamp of approval, which means it is beyond just pretty and cute. It is also designed to become an enduring legacy acquisition. The secret ingredient though, the extra added magic, comes from their Master Doll Artists.
