Description: Up for Consideration is a Philips 900 Series Digital Compact Cassette Recorder DCC 900Condition:This unit is being sold as-is for parts because I do not have a dcc cassette to test recording. Unit powers on and the tray opens and closes properly. I loaded up the cassette I use for recording and it played some previously recorded radio with no issues. I did run it through a receiver to make sure there was output and I got sound. Forward and Rewind both work as they should. I then went to do the record not realizing dcc was a different cassette and the unit said no dcc.. Which leads me to believe that it is reading formatting properly so I would be surprised if it did not read and record the proper cassette. I am selling for parts though because I was unable to test it myself.
