Description: This is a ceramic mug made by Australian Fine China, Perth, Western Australia. It was made as part of a By The Sea collection designed by Susie Crooke. It was produced between 1992 and 2006. In conjunction with a successful solo exhibition of Susie’s watercolour paintings in 1992, Susie Crooke Design was established. The use of soft, pretty watercolours in her unique designs and product range has become a trademark that is now recognised Australia-wide. Inspiration for her extensive collection of designs came from her love of flowers and from boating holidays and escapes to Stradbroke Island and the north coast of Queensland. Sadly, Susie passed away in October 2020 leaving behind a loving family and a legacy of her beautiful artwork and designs.
