Description: Wild horses and the Bear's Ears kept us company when we collected the flint for this point, in Northwest Colorado part of the Northern High Plains. This was the land of the Wind River Shoshone. We find two very different flints at this location, in the washes we find nodules of jet black flint, and on one ridgeline we find a lens of banded flint. The flint used for this point was harvested a few miles from the site in the photo. 2.16 inch arrowhead. 4-57This is an authentic Hensel point. It is a modern piece of historical art, and should not be represented as an ancient artifact. If you like this point, please visit my store and see what else I have to offer.
