Description: In 1919, Roy W. Allen and Frank Wright opened his first root beer stand in Lodi, California. They began by selling frosty mugs of homemade root beer for 5¢ from their roadside stands. Four years later, Frank Wright and Allen opened their first drive-in restaurant in Sacramento, California. Thus the name of the company, Allen & Wright. Over the next few decades, they continued to grow by selling franchises all over the country. In 1963, they became the first chain to sell a Bacon Cheeseburger. Today, there are over 1000 restaurants in the United States and Southeast Asia with more restaurants planned for the future. This is a glass bottle featuring the A&W logo heavily embossed on both sides. This bottle features a classy art deco look. It was bottle, with the permission of A&W, by the Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Birmingham, Alabama. This bottle is in absolutely perfect condition with a slightly tarnished crown cap.
