Description: A Catholic Order of Forester's delegate badge from a June 10-13, 1913 convention in Peoria Illinois. This badge was originally attached to a chain or string. It's metal pieces are pretty hefty, especially the C.O.E. emblem which has shiny red enameled letters. (cloisonne?) I have to marvel at the time and money spent on this convention badge when compared to modern equivalents. This badge was built to last... Please see photos for more details.
