The ornately carved Marlborough legs are supported by open fretwork and terminate in squared pad feet. The table is a licensed copy, produced in a limited quantity, from the original table found at Floors Castle in Scotland with permission from His Grace The Duke of Roxburghe.The table dates from 1982 when Baker Furniture first teamed with Sir Humphrey Wakefield as curator of their Stately Homes Of England and Scotland Collection which produced carefully crafted reproductions of selected furnishings. The table measures 34 1/2" wide, 22 1/2" deep and 27 1/2" in table height. The table retains the metal Baker Furniture label and the Stately Homes of England and Scotland paper label showing an image of Floors Castle. Overall the table is in very good condition with general wear to the finish.The Tea Table is available for local pickup and assistance will be available if buyer provides a shipper.
