Description: EMPTY CONTAINER **Contains No Beer** BALLANTINE DRAUGHT BEER US GALLON MINI KEG. PARTY BARREL. EMPTY CAN. 1 US Gallon Beer Can. P. Ballantine & Sons. Newark, New Jersey. Founded in 1840. One of the top 3 largest breweries in the country in its day. Sold to Falstaff in 1972. Then to Pabst in 1985. Easily recognized by the 3 Olympic like entwined circles. 1960's steel can. 3 panels all the same. Can is in excellent display condition but has some areas of moisture spots and scratches. See last few images for highlighted damaged areas. The top of the can is crusty with opening instructions. Still displays well for 60 years old. Pictures of a draught faucet pouring an ice cold Ballantine ale. Same image on all sides. One side looks better that the other 2. Great collectible for man cave, garage or shop display item. Draw your own draft beer at home. *The U.S. gallon beer can was tried by a few breweries in the US in the early part of the 1960's. It failed miserably at that time and production stopped soon after. Not many of these were every made. Can has been turned and rotated so that all sides are shown. Please look carefully at the photos. This is the actual can you will receive.
