The item is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall and made in the United States. The man has 41/3 stamped on back and the Woman has 41/2 stamped on her back. These figures are a great addition to any collection, especially for those interested in vintage and antique toys. The Barclay company is known for its high-quality lead figures, and this one is no exception. It's perfect for hobbyists and collectors alike. This man figure has near perfect paint, very unusual for a piece this old. The woman has a broken left arm but it is not visible when they are seated together on bench as seen in pictures. One back leg on the bench has tape but still functions well. The group is perfect for display or to use on a train layout. These figurines were manufactured in the 1930's and 1940's for use with Standard gauge train sets made by Lionel.
