Description: This 1988 stereo LP from CBS Masterworks (M 42625) features Bartók's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion as well as Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn for Two Pianos, Op. 56b. The two works are performed by Murray Perahia and Sir Georg Solti on piano, accompanied by David Corkhill and Evelyn Glennie on percussion for the first piece. Album notes are in English, German and French, written by Phillip Ramey. The outer sleeve has a few corner hits and bears a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). The inner sleeve has a small tear in one side that can cause the disc to poke out the side slightly (Photo 5).
