Beautiful Antique Leather Doctor Dentist Medical Bag Circa 1880-1940

Description: For your buying pleasure: a very rare find - antique leather doctor's / dentist ... medical bag circa 1880-1940 in great condition for its age. Provenance / History - this a local estate find. According to the seller his great grandfather was a doctor in early 1900s. Inside the bag, there is a pocket and in there I later found two antique style calling / visiting cards. The name is covered for now. The buyer will get the cards and will see the name. Reference from Wikipedia - By the 19th century (1800s), men and women needed personalized calling or visiting cards to maintain their social status or to move up in society. These small cards, about the size of a modern-day business card, usually featured the name of the owner, and sometimes an address. Calling cards were left at homes, sent to individuals, or exchanged in person for various social purposes. Knowing and following calling card "rules" signaled one's status and intentions Quick searching the name didn't provide any additional insight. The buyer will get the bag and two cards and is welcome to do a more rigorous sleuthing. Condition - normal wear and few scuffs can be seen on images. However, the leather looks damage free, including on the inside. The pocket is fully intact. Metal is rust free. Overall, top notch for this possibly 100+ year old item. Operations - the central lock locks on closure and then can be manually slide and opens the bag. Key is NOT included, Nor is needed to open. Two more sliders can also lock / unlock the bag manually. Finally, as you can see from the images - the bag could be fully open and holds securely for easy access to contents. Size is about 10.5" long X 5" wide X 6" tall. 7" inches wide at the top when fully open. Weight about 1lb 3 oz. Please see video. Note - this is possibly 100+ year old item.
