Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a beautiful Herend Hungary porcelain 14.5" oval sandwich tray in the "Rothschild Bird" pattern with gold trim. This gorgeous tray is decorated with colorful birds in the center with butterflies and bugs on each side against a white porcelain ground and has gilded outer rim. The tray is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 1" high, 14 1/2" long and 6" wide. Weighs 1.6 pounds. Marked on reverse with Herend Hungary trademark stamp and hand painted pattern and mold numbers "436-0-00/RO 17 12000". **WE have two of these trays available sold separately (as shown in last 2 photos) Please advise at time of purchase which platter you would like to purchase. This pattern was created in 1860 for the Rothschild family of Europe and is considered by many to be the epitome of hand painting on porcelain.
