Description: WONDERFUL antique, very ornate, sterling silver filigree lapis lazuli, or similar stone, ring, size 7 3/4, sizable. This is a truly stunning ring. It is much nicer in reality than it appears in my photos. It is beautifully crafted with very fine, ornate open work filigree detail throughout. It is 1 7/8” long by 1/2’ wide and weighs 9.3 grams. It is bezel set with a deep blue stone cabochon that is either a lapis lazuli, or another, similar stone. The gemologist for the estate from which I purchased this ring listed the stone as a lapis lazuli, but I am not certain of this. It almost doesn’t matter as this ring is so well made and is in such nice antique condition that the stone is secondary. It has excellent color, in any event. This ring looks wonderful on most hand shapes and is quite comfortable. It is stamped “Sterling” and it has been professionally tested as such.
