No tags on this pretty, but mysterious yarn, so we asked a customer we trust his opinion. He did a burn test & feels strongly it’s a plant based yarn, likely cotton &/or linen with some silk.”..! We did have a Faithful customer that gave this review/suggestion: I (purchased) the orange yarn skeins and thought I’d share what I noticed about this yarn. It felt quite dry to touch, a bit unusual, but can happen during the dye process. I made a swatch, washed it and dried it the dryer (since it’s cotton, possibly with a bit of nylon) and it came out quite a bit softer and barely any ‘dry’ feel to it. From my past experience with dyeing cotton, the dryness disappears and fibers soften back quickly after a bit of use.! We promise this is some of the finest yarn anywhere!
