Description: This Beautiful rare Early 20th Century French original painting for carpet development was painted as a form of a template to be translated into a woven tapestry by the weavers. The background color is a lovely rose tone, with lighter color rise medallions. There are many times of green leaves with brown branches building on the lower right hand side. There is also a very beautiful classical border of flowers, leaves, and medallions in yellow, pink, taupe, rose, creme and green. See photos for reference. Wonderful for framing! Measurement: 40 inches in Length by 54 inches in Width Condition: There are many cracks and scratches throughout the painting, there is a major fold line in the middle of the painting. There are many very small pencil numbers which represented various colors for the weavers to translate into the woven fabric Please see photos for reference.
