Description: Vintage wooden antique trunk, hope chest with layers of paint which have developed an aged and weathered appearance over time. There is no key for the locking mechanism. The handles have an ornate design and one of the handles has a crack in it. This trunk includes a custom-made platform with steel wheels for easy moving around any room. The wooden platform is bare wood and can be finished or painted whatever color you choose. This item has dents, dings, multiple layers of paint, scratches, rust, discoloration, weathering, and distressing. The custom wooden rolling platform has imperfections. This trunk also has signatures and dates written in pencil on the inside of the lid with the dates ranging from 1909 though 1912. Some of the names are Beauty Zelmans, Berty Ruhl, and Susan Schunk.
