Description: Beaver Tails Raw beaver tail halves. Price is per one side of a beaver tail (half tail piece). Tails are cut along edges, skinned out, thoroughly fleshed, salt cured, and dried. These tails are raw and ready to be tanned! May also work for other various craft projects in raw state. #1 quality tails have no holes or blemishes within center of tail piece. (May have slight defect around edges, outside of common working area). If your project requires a totally defect-free tail piece, please leave us a note during checkout and we will pick one out for you. #2 quality tails have one-two small holes/defects within center mass of tail. Still will have plenty of workable material for smaller projects where the entire tail is not needed. Our beaver tails are sized based off width of the widest point.
