Description: Columbia 12-inch 33 RPM double LP # G-31093 is "Nobody's Blues but Mine" by Bessie Smith. It is mono and dated 1972. Both of the records look to be in used and worn condition, still nice and shiny, but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches. I've played all four sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, and I found varying levels of audible background noise, much of which is probably due to the poor quality of the original recordings anyway. Side One, however, has a nasty set of scratches that cause several forward jumps and loud clicks during the first track. Other than that, there were no skips or repeats, but some audible background noise, including some occasional pops or ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. As shown in the pictures, the gatefold cover is in somewhat distressed condition, with some heavy dampstaining and paper loss along the bottom edge, and the seams all starting to split at the open ends.
