It comes in a bag with all the pieces needed for assembly. The words, faces and snow are printed on. All the pieces have adhesive backing, so do not require glue. It has more pieces then the usual kit, and is a little more complicated, so a really young child would need close supervision and assistance putting it together. But kids will have fun putting the ornaments on the trees and stars at the top.
