Bewlay's pipes were considered high-end British pipes, mainly because it was known that they were made by highly respected companies such as Barling's and Comoy's. Very clean pipe in great condition - it has a couple of fill spots on the front right side, but no really noticeable stem chatter or rim/chamber problems. The inside of the chamber has been coated and is smooth (a previous restorer did this). It's a very nice pipe that has been cleaned and sanitized and is ready to smoke. Length on billiards is measured end-to-end. Length on bent pipes is measured from the tip of the stem straight across to the far end of the bowl. Thanks for looking!
