This is a handmade ring with a unique design that will definitely draw attention to your hand. If you look closely at the photos, you will see the textured oak leaves throughout this tiered cluster, and especially around the center diamond, as the curved tree trunk extends from the center as well. The oak tree has long been known as a symbol of wisdom, strength and endurance. I added "bow" to the title because it also looks like a large tiered bow. If you really use your imagination, maybe it's a "tie a ribbon around the old oak tree" ring in waiting for a soldier??? Anyway, I digress. There are 8 minty green emeralds measuring a little over 3 mm each, and one center diamond. The diamond is about .18 ct and the total gemstone weight in this ring is approximately 1.38 ctw. One emerald has a chip, and another has a surface crack that can be seen on an angle with a loupe. Neither of these flaws detract from the beauty of the ring as a whole, though. The mounting is tiered, with nice height off the hand--a nice big cocktail ring! The face measures 1" north to south and the head rises 1/2" off the hand. It is hallmarked 14k and 585 (European for 14k). It weighs 5.6 grams, is a size 6.75 - 7, and is in "good" vintage condition other than the two small flaws mentioned above. Sold "as is."
