The bosal is a rawhide core (no metal inner frame) and is 5/8” diameter and 2” circumference at the cheeks and will accommodate most headstalls. The black Mecate rein is a soft nylon Mecate measuring approximately 23’ long and tied onto the bosal in the traditional manner creating a rein and lead line. Genuine horsehair tassel. Tooled leather popper at the lead end. The headstall is a harness leather with black leather lacing on the earpiece and cheeks. Single sliding ear style.
