The size 8 ring has a HALO of white topaz that floats around the outer edge of the scrolling design, bringing the eye in toward the gorgeous glowing opal that is classified as black but cleary, an overall, lavender-purple hue. The ring is 3/4" long, knuckle to knuckle, and bears a prominent silhouette. Delicate but not small, which is hard to find. The ring performs on two levels, the white faceted topaz stones are just the right size to 'wink' and twinkle but in no way overrides the classic beauty of the opal in all of its color and fire. The opal measures in at 12mm by 10mm by 4mm thick and is raised slightly within its cage to allow light to pass through. Sterling silver 925 setting and comes gift boxed along with care instructions.
