Will SmartSense work with a 45kg gas cylinder? It may not work on these larger bottles due to the thicker steel which is used in their construction. Is the magnet strong enough to leave on a caravan gas bottle full time? Yes, SmartSense is equipped with two super strong magnets holding the sensor in place on the gas bottle when travelling in a RV. We would recommend to take it off the bottle when travelling on corrugated / rough roads. How long will the battery last? One year on average depending on the operating temperatures.
