They work with the stock factory strut / shocks. If the car has adaptive suspension (EDC) you keep that functionality with now height adjustment added. BMW F8x F80 F82 M3 M4 -Factory M Performance Height Adjustable Suspension HAS Kit These were on my M3 for 31,xxx miles. I used them with the stock shocks to keep my EDC functions. They were professionally installed, and then professionally uninstalled. They are in good condition. The shock absorber tool and adjustment wrenches are not included (I've misplaced them in a move) Again the adjustment wrench and shock tool are not included. But, my shop uninstalled them fine and said the shock tool is not needed for install if a shop / person has a press. You can adjust them with any normal coil over wrench. (replacements for these are ~$10-20) I'm not very active on forums, but I've posted these for the last 2+ years and every time I get someone local interested they bail or no show last min. With lots of people asking me to ship as well. These are not cheap to ship, its over 20lbs, so the shipping price reflects that.
