Today I'm selling backwind keys. I have 12+ keys in stock. I bought 50 them at auction about 18 years ago. They appear to be unused. I'll even pay the postage! Get 'em while they last. Price is for one (1) key :) WILL IT FIT MY CAMERA? How do I know the key will fit my camera? Easy! It fits all later models of Bolex 8mm cameras the have the backwind socket in place. D8L's, B8l's, C8L's, starting at about 1960 and all Reflex cameras, including the P1, P2, and P3. All use the same key. You camera must have the adapter socket already factory installed by Bolex for the key to work. Most Bolex 8mm, starting about 1960, have the backwind key socket. But NOT all ! Remember: No hole for key, the crank will NOT work in that camera. And no, I do not know of anybody that will modify your camera's case to fit the crank. Follow this easy -3- step guide: 1) Look at first picture. It shows the socket and its location relative to the camera's winding key. The dust cap is rotated clockwise to allow the backwind key to be inserted. 2) Look at picture two. It shows the backwind key inserted and you are ready to go! 3) Done!
