New (sealed) items are sent sealed unless you request that I open the seal and pack the item with the record out of the jacket. Items that are used will be packed with the records outside of the cover to ensure there are no seam issues in shipping. I also pack items to minimize any issues in transit, and while I can't guarantee what the postal service will do, as a collector I understand the needs to pack items well for shipping.
