This part cannot be used for the older Bosch Ariston heaters that do not have an 'S' in the model name (i.e., the GL2.5, GL4, GL2.5Ti and GL4Ti). This part is not compatible with the 8 gallon Bosch Ariston GL6+, Bosch Ariston GL6+S, Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL8 Ti, Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL8 TiS, and Bosch Tronic 3000T ES8 electric mini-tank water heaters.
