From 1920 on the company mainly produced table- and alarm clocks.Very early also chess clocks were produced, which quickly gained fame because of its quality. At the Olympiad in Munich 1958, the Olympia model was introduced, which was produced in numerous variations and large quantities.The Jerger chess clocks were housed mostly in a tipped stable wooden oak case. The early versions could be personalized by engraving of a club or owner's name. In 1988 the Jerger company went bankrupt, Jerger tried to continue the production of alarm clocks and chess clocks, however in 1995 the company went bankrupt for a second and final time.
