Designed for simplicity, effectiveness and ease of use, the Simply Stable Shoulder Stabilizer provides shoulder stability and protection with less restriction to the user at a lower cost. The Simply Stable unique strap attaches to the firm base of the shoulder pads. This feature avoids the use of vests, torso girdles and waist belts associated with other devices. Functionally, abduction and external rotation may be controlled while helping to protect the shoulder joint from subluxation. Providing the same level of shoulder joint protection as the stabilizer, the Shoulder Harness uses the same arm wrap. It is appropriate for non-contact and light-contact sports activities other than football and uses a light, comfortable stabilizing system that is designed for minimum chest wall restriction. The open design promotes good air circulation. Application:Center the Stabilizer, neoprene side down, across the upper arm. Start the wrap at the mid lateral aspect.With the arm internally rotated, wrap completely around the arm and secure in place with the hook and pile. The wrap should be comfortable and not so snug as to limit circulation.Secure the Stabilizer to the shoulder pads utilizing the eyelets in the strap and in the shoulder pads. If the Stabilizer is to be used with the Shoulder Harness, apply the chest strap allowing for chest expansion and criss-cross the shoulder straps in the back. The plastic attachment plate should be centered over the sternum.
