Description: Breitling SuperOcean Professional A17345 Mens Watch Box Papers Excellent condition, no damage to crystal, only minor wear to case & bracelet (no material scratches to either)Ref (model) A17345. This model's case and bracelet's finish is brushed stainless steel, not the polished version.Black dial (although it can appear to have a bluish tinge in some photos due to the factory coating on the crystal)Note this is the SuperOcean "Professional" model with higher original water resistance than the regular SuperOcean models of the time (compare dials).Case measures 41mm excluding crown or crown guard (43mm in crown guard, 44-45 to top of crown), 13-14mm thick.Purchased new at retail - at Yes Watch Co in Hong Kong 7/4/01 (yesandright.com)Original owner. Has never been submerged more than 3-4 meters, worn regularly until 2015 but rarely since thenBrushed stainless steel case & bracelet. Bracelet has expansion joint designed to quickly add circumference for use with a wetsuit.Keeps accurate time but officially due for servicing based on time since last service. As of 2024, Breitling online service estimator quoted $170 for maintenance service or $570 for a "complete" service. Cannot attest to the current water resistance, although by design this watch had an unusually high rating for water resistance as shown on the dial.All original packaging incl box, Bakelite case, extra links, replaced crown & gasket, manual, warranty & service record, chronometer certificate. All these are in excellent condition.All prior services done by official Breitling certified technician.Service history: authorized service 2005 (overhaul, new crown & gasket), 2008 (basic), 2013 (basic), 2015 (overhaul), all by Swiss Watch Repair in midtown NYC (now closed bc Breitling took everything in-house).Note Breitling still has a SuperOcean line, but new ones have very different styling. The current Avenger line is the one which most closely matches this styling.
