It was a chestnut with white blanket but changed to a small fleck black and white leopard Appaloosa with black mane and tail. Bridle is dark grey suede leather lacing with metal connectors. Two painted black tipped white metal feathers hang from the chin strap each about 1.75" long. On the near side at the ear are attached two real 3" long feathers, one turquoise, one light grey. The collar is a length of blue turquoise suede strap to which are attached six 3/4" painted black tipped white metal feathers, three on each side. From this strap at center front hands a multicolored hand made fringed seed bead chest protector . The saddle is authentic vintage coyote fur on top with long apricot rust suede leather fringes hanging down on each side. Matching shorter fringes also hang over the rear tail area. The warrior's battle shield is 3+ inches in diameter. Top outer layer is an embroidered picture of a buffalo skull. Attached are 4 painted black tipped white metal feathers. The back and hood around outer top is authentic vintage silver fox fur. Two rows of light blue seed beads are attached around upper inner edge of shield. Five real 3" long light grey feathers hang from the bottom of the shield. On the far side attached to the saddle is a 10" long wooden spear with silver colored metal spear head. Top of shaft is wrapped with turquoise blue suede leather lacing to which is attached one 3" long real turquoise feather and two 3" long light grey feathers. Warpaint in red has been hand painted on the horse's body showing this stallion has carried its rider successfully into many battles. Please see photos for colors, designs. Traditional size horse.
