Description: These BSA Wilderness First Aid patches may be worn on the field uniform for all BSA youth organizations including Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Sea Scouting, Venturing and Exploring. For BSA Wilderness First Aid instructors, these make a great recognition of the completion of the 16 hour training which is required for most high adventure programs. This new version of the patch may be worn on the right side pocket using the button loop or may be sewn in place. The patches have been used as a fundraiser for BSA Troop 62 in Winter Park, Florida which was founded in 1958. The troop sponsors an Emergency Care & Safety Institute education center called, "BSA Central Florida" and provides training for all units in the Central Florida area and beyond. The courses provide high quality training at the lowest possible cost to keep the ninth point of the Scout Law: "A Scout is Thrifty". All instructors are trained BSA volunteers with a background in emergency medical services. Many of them are paramedics, EMTs, physicians, nurses or other allied health professionals. When you purchase these patches you help the troop provide these services to scouting and the community. We will consider offers when you plan to purchase at least five patches. Offers of fewer than five patches will not be accepted.
