After winning a school art competition, then forwarded to represent the school at the National Finals at the magnificent Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery of Glasgow. Served an Apprenticeship in stone masonry and decorative brickwork. Also completed a 5 year college degree for architecture and drawing in Glasgow. This enabled C.B. to work in amazing locations including town halls, Churches, an Abbey and Castles. Moved to NYC in 1985 becoming immersed in the art and culture of the city. Enjoying any free time in the museums and art galleries. Also attending many antique and art markets and fairs including the quirky Garage on 25th st, Broadway and Grand antique market and also the famous 26th streets magnificent market that was often frequented by Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring etc etc. Having traveled extensively in the USA and Europe simply observing a colorful and characterful world.
