Description: Circa 1912 photo of large Chicago wedding! I was curious about this photo and put it to the test on Reddit to find out the wedding venue or anything more. Lots of great leads, but nothing conclusive just yet. Multiple people believe that the mural is the "Sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes." But I confirmed that it is not the recently closed parish on Ashland. There is also a circle in the upper left that has an anchor and letters that appear to be LCSA or LCBA. One commenter even thought that they saw Teddy Roosevelt in the photo. Not sure about that, but I do see the resemblance and the timing is right. Ha. The photography studio is listed as "Chas. O Graif" at 5219 N. Clark -- right in the heart of Andersonville. The address is now a Warby Parker I believe. I found an advertisement for the photographer from 1912. Thus, the circa 1912 date. DIMENSIONS: Dimensions listed above are for the whole piece, including the cardboard. The photo itself is about 8x10. See photos with ruler. CONDITION: Please check photographs thoroughly for signs of wear. Multiple photos are always posted so that you know exactly what you will be receiving. Please message me with any specific questions about condition. ** Overall in good condition. There is some discoloration with age. Blemishes and wear and tear, especially with the edges. ** Photo will be mailed in protective packaging with tracking. Thanks for looking!
