Description: Cabinet photograph depicting the exterior of the W P Lauman General Store in Yoncalla Oregon. The sign in front of the store is basically unreadable. But the sign on the side of the building states W P Lauman Dry Goods. Two men stand in front of the building. There are small dolls on display in the right window and each window has a small sign for Climax Cut Plug. In 1928 The Yoncalla Church of Christ started. The Lauman store was converted for use as the church’s meeting place for nearly 30 years. Period text on the back states January 1906. Modern pencil text is also on the back. 7 ¼” x 9 ¼” overall. Image is 5” x 7”. Corner tear on the image. Pin holes in the corners of the mount and an edge gouge. Please see scans for more details.
