He was one of the outstanding designers of furniture in the Art Nouveau style, The source of this print is Documents D'Atelier; Art Decoratif Moderne (published in Paris, 1898) is a rare publication documenting French design and decor in the Art Nouveau style, an ornamental style of art that flourished between about 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States.
