California 1946 Burton Holmes Travelogue Program / Flyer Opera House Chicago

Description: This auction is for an original program/flyer for the Burton Holmes Travelogue on "California" (Not all of it - Southern California is still in preparation"). Burton Holmes appeared in person at the Opera House in Chicago, Illinois for this. This handbill/program lists one performance on April 17, 1946. Most likely this one page program was given away at the performance. It lists the contents of the travelogue and mentions that there will be one brief intermission. The other side of this one page program has an ad for Southern Comfort. The program measures 13-1/4" x 6" and was folded in quarters (it will be mailed folded, as found). The program is in good condition except for three horizontal creases from being folded into quarters - the program is lightly yellowed with age - there are some light creases in the top quarter - - there are some smaller creases - there is some light dirt. I don't have ticket stubs for this Opera House venue, but I will include two ticket stubs for February 13, 1946 Burton Holmes California Travelogue at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. The two ticket stubs are adjoining seats. These balcony seats cost $1.20 each back in 1946. The tickets measure approx 1-3/8" x 2-1/8". The ticket stubs are in good used condition - there is a vertical bend on the left side of both - there are a few creases. A NICE GROUP OF BURTON HOLMES TRAVLOGUE MEMORABILIA!
