Description: Card of 32 mostly antique clothing buttons -- all are in a BALL type shape. They majority were produced during the antique era of the 1800s or early 1900s, but a few may have been produced in the vintage era of the mid 1900s. These buttons were made using various materials, including: glass, vegetable ivvory, celluloid, pearl, various types of early plastic, steel, bright-cut pewter, an assortment of metals and more. Please refer to the ruler pictured in the image for the sizes and conditions of the buttons. Overall button condition: Solid VG+ to Excellent..... The buttons may have tarnished a bit with age, or have slight surface wear -- but I have noticed no cracks, large chips, or other more serious flaws. The buttons are in very nice shape and will display beautifully. See attached photos for more detail on the condition and sizes. ***************************************** PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT an expert on vintage buttons. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime member of the National Button Society, plus was active in several local button clubs in New York. She downsized her collection before passing away in 2020, so I have been helping her sell some of her treasures. But I am not familiar with all the terminology and intricacies of button collecting. I try to use various notes she left with the buttons to describe them to the best of my ability, but understand that any terms I use in describing these items, are not terms I am familiar or experienced with. So please use the attached images to form your own opinions. I am also not knowledgeable on the hobby criteria in condition grading -- so I use my condition grades in a commonsense manner -- as if grading any collectible -- they are not based on any hobby standards.
