It is noticeable right away. It is a factory defect, not even sure how it could have passed factory inspection. Bubble is right in the center op=f the element.Other then that, I don't see anything damaged. Lens shows light if any wear on exterior. Filter rim looks good and it accepts filters. Front Glass does not have any large, noticeable scratches. I see some coating rib marks on the glass. Glass is very clean and clear. It has couple small dust specs inside. But no haze or fungus inside. Glass is in better then average condition, considering that lens was made more then 70 years ago. Performance: Lens has no known issues. Aperture blades are free of oil.
