Description: Casio Casiotron World Time S-14 X1-S Digital Watch Here we have a lovely wearable vintage Casio 'Casiotron' watch from the 1970's. It is a good size on the wrist with a solid steel case and a beautiful blue dial with gold accents. A really interesting conversation piece with 4 modes of operation: 0 - Stop Watch : A standard chronograph with 1 second resolution. 1 - Counter : A simple counter that increments on button press. 2. World Time : The main function which allows the user to quickly cycle through times in 6 preset timezones, Tokyo, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London or Paris which are listed on the LCD. 3 - Time Memory : An additional time that is set manually if you wish to see a time other than the presets The mode is selected using the recessed button, so this is likely something you would do in advance of wearing the watch.Once chosen you switch to that mode using the top right button and then the bottom right button works the function. When displaying the current, local time, you can see the date and day by holding down the bottom right button. Setting the times and configuring the watch is an experience in itself. The crystal and case both have scratches but I have cleaned and serviced the watch so all buttons and functions work well.
