With its strong resemblance to the DW-5000C-1A but in a full-metal, DLC-coated form with modern features, the GMW-B5000TFC-1 is likely to be the most desired and hard-to-find of the GMW-B5000 models but will also be the most expensive (with a rumored price of $3,500-8,000 USD on eBay).. These are far better than two point tools also common in cheap watch tool kits I've used. It comes off easy enough with the right tool. I wasn't concerned with minor tool marks on this case back so I just used the case back tool with appropriate size tips. If you'd like to minimize the chance of scratching you can put down a sheet of plastic like that from a small ziplock bag. 2. For this work You use the 20mm square (bottom) and 40mm square (top) blocks to press it out and the 25mm square (top) and 40mm square (bottom) blocks to press the new crystal in. Trim the 20mm square block down on the corners to make sure it comfortably cleared the solar PV cells as it pressed against the inside of the crystal. 3. Loose guide collar thing on the lower side of the piston that was allowing the piston to rotate some while, cranking the press down and will you gave you the threads a little dab of grease. I recommend taking lots of your own pictures for your reassembly reference. The one with the spring bar tool shows where I pried with the end. The module is held in fairly tight and won't come out without some prying. 4. All this work and the case looks so dirty because I typically would have cleaned the case and bezel and everything involved but I'm always worried about the clear plastic tabs that are some sort of additional cushion between the bezel and case. I feel like these could be easily and functionally replaced with bits of packing tape that were cut to the right size. The factory cushion tabs don't all have adhesive on their entire surface so they tend to have a side sticking out as shown.
