Description: What a great trombone when I first found it I was a little bit confused cause I couldn’t find any model 2H that had this slide but, that’s the way it is and it works just perfectly. The bell is a 38H Ballroom Artist Special What Conn said in 1928: The "Ballroom" Models have a number of special features which make them unique for dance work - the bell is further back, easier to reach for wow-wow; the handhold on the slides has been moved to give better balance and hence quicker control; the bell and slides are locked together by a positive lock - to mention a few of them. It’s got a gorgeous counterweight. That’s probably worth 100 bucks on its own and a couple very small dents on the Bell towards the crook, but they are not deep and should not be difficult for a good tech to take care of in about a half an hour. I am a trumpet player, but I have a couple strange mouthpieces that I like to put in trombones and this one is so much fun to drive so I would recommend this has a double for a trumpet player. It is so much fun and the Bella is beautiful. Has a gold wash bell that is still intact Engraving and just that gorgeous old Conn workmanship. when I receive this, it was extremely tarnished along with a beautiful Olds Special trombone. I have listed right now. I spent many hours and polishing these with no abrasives so my arm is tired as well as my fingers lol. I am selling this trombone without a case although I do have a case available but I would have to up the shipping charge. If you want to buy it ask me first and I will change the shipping for an old, William Frank period case with a new handle. Shipping is getting ridiculous even with eBay‘s discount and for some reason they automatically put priority as the shipping method they want you to use which is ridiculous because just for a Trumpet the other day it said it would be $186 to go to the West Coast so I use FedEx when it goes farther And Ground advantage if it’s close, which seems to be the same as priority. Trombone is ready to play right out of the box and I know you’re going to have a blast with it. It does have the smaller bell. I believe it’s 6 1/2 inch but measures slightly less than 7”and if you were a crazy trumpet player player, you could build a wild jazz horn out of the bell, but That could get up into the serious Schmeckles! Enough rambling, here’s a wonderful trombone at a fantastic price and I hope you have a good time with it. I can throw a vintage mouse piece in with it something more align for a double for a Trumpet. I’ll take a picture of one. read my reviews. I shipped professionally and you don’t have to worry about your instrument coming to you damaged. Thank you.
