Original cards from this set are now more than 125 years old and an individual card of the most common player will cost hundreds of dollars in top condition. This card is reproduced in close-to-the- original 1-1/2" by 2-3/4" size (being 1-5/8" by 2-3/4") and colorized image of a prominent player of the era. The back carries a checklist of the set, starting with "Base Ball Players". In those days, the game was a two-word affair.
