Description: Here is a charming, American folk art hand-carved and painted model of a dory.It is carved from one piece of white pine and is nicely detailed.My best guess is that it dates from the second half of the 20th century.It measures 6- 7/8ths inches long, by 2- 1/4 inches wide, and is 1- 1/2 inches high. This dory is in excellent, used vintage, condition with just some gentle scuffing and wear to the painted surface and edges and corners consistent with its age.
