The city is therefore surrounded by various mountains and ridges. The official nickname for Chattanooga is the Scenic City. Several unofficial nicknames include River City, Nooga, Chattown, and Gig City, demonstrating that Chattanooga currently has the fastest internet service in the Western Hemisphere.
