Description: This listing is for a Child’s Vintage 1950s Mexican Embroidered Jacket & Circle Skirt. This lovely set is perfect for a special Halloween outfit or a fiesta party. This set is circa early 1950s and represents the Mexican embroidered jackets and circle skirts that were made for the tourists visiting Mexico in the 1940s to the 1960s. This set features a bright and vibrant skirt of a church and village, as well as lovely village scenes on the Kelly green jacket. Both garments are in excellent condition with no issues. The skirt has 2 sets of ties for the front and back for closure. The jacket is beautifully made with embroidery throughout. This set is an incredible piece of Mexican Tourist history and has remained in exceptional condition for the last 70+ years. They have both been kept in outstanding condition. Any dark areas are shadows from photographing. I have a collection of over 140 of these jackets that I have amassed over the last 35 years. I have really enjoyed wearing and collecting these jackets and skirts over the years, and at this point in my life, I have decided to sell off my whole collection. I selected only jackets and skirts that were in impeccable condition. My jackets have been stored in a cedar lined, cool storage space to prevent any damage from sunlight or insects.
